William's skills as an accompanist have been noted on many occasions. He accompanies many of the top choirs, both professional and amateur. He has worked with conductors such as Richard Hickox, John Eliot Gardiner, Stephen Layton, Ronald Corp and Paul McCreesh.
With over ten discs to his name, he is a trusted and inspiring collaborator under the microphone, ranging from keyboard continuo to full Grand Organ. Highlights include the many discs produced by Rochester Cathedral while William was Assistant Organist there (1994-8) and a recording of the organ-only version of the Duruflé Requiem (New London Singers, Conductor Ivor Setterfield)
William often plays chamber organ continuo, and has recently performed the Bach St John Passion in Brentwood Cathedral and the Beethoven Missa Solemnis on tour with the Gabrieli Consort and Players under Paul McCreesh.
